Two teams heading in opposite directions met on the pitch in Paradise to play out the contest of the Owls. Rice (11-2-2, 5-1-1 AAC) was on a four match winning streak while Florida Atlantic was on a three match losing streak. Florida Atlantic gained a valuable point and the third clean sheet of the season drawing Rice 0-0.

Miami Gains Win over Owls in Second Meeting of 2024   

The Owls took the short ride to Coral Gables to face the Miami Hurricanes (4-5-3) for the second time this season. The teams did not plan on facing each other again this season, but both needed an extra opponent due to each having canceled matches, so came this match. The Hurricanes dominant performance led to a 1-0 victory over FAU.

In a cloudy downtown Birmingham, Alabama, the Blazers and the Owls met in a match that could set the tone for the final month of the season. Even with a staunch attack by FAU, the Blazers found a way to get past the Owls 1-0.

After two straight cancelled matches the Owls went to the foothills of the Smokies in hopes of finding their first win of the season. Florida Atlantic kept up, but it was not enough as the Lady Vols pulled away to keep the win column waiting for FAU.
