Preakness days in recent years have featured water and plumbing miscues. A large section of the grandstand at Pimlico Race Course has been rendered unusable because it’s condemned, and much of the rest of the storied but decaying track is a relic to the sport of king’s heyday many yesteryears ago.
We stay in Bensalem for today’s QPW as we will once again look at the sixth race, and this race is eerily similar to the conditions of yesterday’s race. On Monday, we had fillies and mares who were $5000 claimers who had not won two races in six months going a mile. It’s Monday, which means it must be race 6 at Parx in Bensalem, PA, and once again, that is the chase as we have seven fillies and mares (three years old and up) going a mile on the main track. Post time is scheduled for 2:59 pm Eastern time.
We stay in Queens for today’s QPW as we will look at the eighth race on their card, which is the Grade 3 Soaring Softly Stakes which will go 6 furlongs on the outer turf course. Post time for the three-year-old fillies is set for 4:43 pm Eastern time.

I’m back. Did you miss me? I’m back after a couple of days off hoping to break my cold streak that I left you with on Sunday and we get an interesting race here at Aqueduct in the Belmont at the Big A spring meet here as we have three-year-olds and up going one mile on the main track here.
Mystik Dan worked out for the first time at Churchill Downs on Wednesday in Louisville, Ky., since winning Saturday’s Kentucky Derby there. Trainer Kenny McPeek is weighing whether to enter Mystik Dan into the Preakness Stakes on May 18. But
