Quills Picks Winners – Saturday 4/20 – Laurel Race 10 (Federico Tesio Stakes) & Oaklawn Race 11 (Oaklawn Handicap)

These are the two races I looked at today, and if you watched or listened to the show, I had an idea of having a theme. One of the races today, the Federico Tesio at Laurel Park, and tomorrow’s Illinois Derby, both are eligible for the Preakness if they are nominated for the Triple Crown. Let’s begin with the Tesio at Laural Park as we have eleven horses going postward around 5:09 pm ET.

We stay in the Sooner State of Oklahoma for another edition of Quills Picks Winners as we will look at their stakes race that they have today, the Highland Ice Stakes. Quills Picks Winners – Monday 4/15 – Will Rogers Downs Race 8 – Wilma Mankiller Stakes

After a successful trip to New York yesterday, we take a trip don’t take a trip down I-95 back home to Parx, but out to Oklahoma, where the winds come down the plains, where we will take a look at the eighth race at Will Rogers Downs as we have three year old fillies and up going six furlongs today. Post time is set for 5:24 pm Eastern time.

Quills Picks Winners – Sunday 4/14 – Aqueduct Race 8 – NY Stallion Stakes

With Santa Anita taking the week off before coming back next week, our Sunday still will be Aqueduct as we will look at their featured race, which is the New York Stallion Stakes. Eight three year old fillies will go six and a half furlongs on the main track here, and the post time is for 5:04 pm Eastern time.

Quills Picks Winners – Saturday 4/13 – Keeneland Race 10 – Lexington Stakes

It’s Saturday and though the field for the Kentucky Derby is pretty much set for this year, we still have one final race from Keeneland as we complete the road to the Kentucky Derby with the Lexington Stales which will go a mile and a sixteenth on the main track.
