After dropping a conference series at home to Tulane over the weekend, FAU traveled down to Miami to attempt to snap the two game losing streak, and take the season long series three games to one. FAU would jump on the scoreboard early yet again, but Miami would come back to take the fourth and final game of the series, splitting the series two games a piece.

College Baseball Preview: FAU at Miami Series Finale

Following a historic opening game of the FAU and Tulane series last weekend, that featured C.J. Williams tossing the first complete game shutout by an FAU Owl since 2016, Tulane battled back for the series win. They rallied late in games two and three and their ability to put up large amounts of runs in a single inning proved to be the difference-maker in that series. FAU now looks to forget about those losses and get one back tonight in Miami to end their season long series.

A Seven Run Ninth Inning Allows Tulane To Take Series vs. FAU

FAU entered the game three rubber match against Tulane looking to take their first series since their three game set against Memphis. The Owls bats got off to a good start early, and backed up the Owls pitching staff through the first half of the game. A late rally from Tulane however, would allow the Green Wave to overtake the Owls lead and take the series finale for the series win.

Owls Drop Game Two To Tulane 8-3

Following their 5-0 shutout victory in game one, FAU looked to come out and win the series in game two against Tulane. After getting out in front early, Chandler Welch would recover to put together a solid start for Tulane, and the bats would follow to help secure the game two victory for the Green Wave.

Historic Start From C.J. Williams Gives FAU 5-0 Win In Tulane Series Opener

After losing three straight games on their last road trip, FAU was finally back home to play some conference baseball. The Tulane Green Wave came into Boca Raton looking to improve upon their 5-7 AAC conference record. C.J. Williams and the Owls would have other plans for Tulane, and after a historic start from Williams, the Owls would’ve only needed one run to win the game, and turned it into five for a shutout series opening win.
