After breaking out for 18 hits in their second game of the AAC Baseball Championship, FAU would be matched up with Charlotte, looking to keep their season alive. With help from Jake Millan’s two home runs, the Owls were able to power past Charlotte, despite a late attempt at a comeback. FAU came to Clearwater looking to take a first round win over Tulane to start a possible run to a conference championship. However, the Green Wave dominated the Owls the entire game, defeating them 14-2 by run-rule in seven innings.
