The season for FAU football went from bad to total disarray on Thursday evening as the Owls and Pirates were tied for the first 23 seconds of the game, however it all went downhill from there.

FAU lost a tough one to USF, falling to 2-6 and leaving them with their backs against the wall heading into the final 4 games of the season.
Tom Herman mentioned in his opening statement, “once is an anomaly, twice is a coincidence and 3 times is a pattern,” and for FAU they have hit that 3rd time, suffering their 3rd straight defeat in a disheartening 44-21 loss to USF.
