For those people out there, that might not know the name LaJohntay Wester, where the hell have you been?? LaJohntay Wester leads all of college football with 87 receptions. LaJohntay is the number 4 NCAA receiver with 1,004 receiving yards.
The FAU Owls victory over the 49ers (has anyone else learned about the “Gold Rush” in Charlotte) helped improve the team’s chances at not only a bowl berth, but a shot at the conference championship game. Their in-conference record (3-1) has them sitting near the top of the American Athletic Conference, just below SMU, UTSA, & Tulane.

The FAU Owls got in the end zone quickly when Daniel Richardson tossed a 2-yard TD to Zeke Moore less than 4 minutes into the first quarter for a 7-0 lead. The touchdown was the first of Moore’s career.
The win kicked off FAU’s inaugural season in the American Athletic Conference.
Watching the offensive and defensive lines in pre-game drills gave an indication of what was to come. Both were aggressive and it carried over into the game.
