Army rolls over FAU in home-opener 24-7

The home-opener didn’t go as planned for FAU. Army marched into town and up and down Howard Schnellenberger Field, rushing for 412 yards en-route to a 24-7 victory, which snapped a 4 game home-opener win streak for FAU.

GAME CAPSULE: FAU VS Army – September 7th, 2024

A service academy is coming to town which means the Owls will need to be firing on all cylinders in order to avoid playing into Army’s methodical game. Week 1 saw the Owls offense struggle to get going early on, and needed a spectacular effort from the defense to keep them in it, which eventually resulted in the unit finding some rhythm late which they will need to carry into week 2.
