Day In The Dirt Down South, one of the most prolific endurance motorcross events in the US, is making its return back to Dade City once again, with the event taking place from March 8th through the 10th.
The event, which features different eras of motorcross bikes and some exciting names such as Travis Pastrana, is a three day event featuring different endurance style races that weave and wind through the dusty and dense forests of Dade City, even running through a barn at one point during the event.
A weekend that is more about the bikes out on the course than anything, brings together the love of enduro moto and the fun of motorcross…
While this event does have algo to fight for in regards to a trophy, this event is more about the spectacle that it is.
It will be interesting to see what will be new to the event and who may show up, with the potential of seeing some big names in the motorcross world, but, it is an event that truly shies away from the more tight events that are Monster Energy Supercross.
As always, this event usually puts on a show, with extreme and extensive racing taking place, but it gives fans truly a unique experience that is different than your average race.
It is more about the fun and guys doing what they love, going back to their roots if you will.
Day in The Dirt Down South adds to what are a busy few weeks of motorsports and racing in Florida as well, with the NHRA and IndyCar openers commencing, and Bike Week taking place in Daytona, adding to what are some of the most fun times in motorsports during the early months of the season.
