Warriors get deserving win
The Golden State Warriors got a win to start the new week after having two games with losing by one point and ending the two game losing streak they had entering the game. Stephen Curry was the lead scorer for the Warriors with 37 points and Curry scored 15 points in the third quarter. Jonathan Kuminga who recorded 26 points in the game and Andrew Wiggins who recorded 23 points in the game joining Curry to get 20 points.
Despite the Warriors being the shortest team in the league with an average of six foot five inches they stopped the NBA lead scorer Joel Embiid after his game where he recorded 70 points. The Warriors made him have 14 points in the game and was five for 18 in shooting and had a total of eight turnovers in the game.
Curry and Warriors on a 21 to nine run third quarter with special guests
Stephen Curry and the Warriors begin the third quarter on a 21 to nine run of which Curry scored 15 of those points during the run. Curry scored the 15 points four of which were three pointers and it included a step back splash and former Warriors Kelly Oubre Jr. to draw a foul on the play to make it a four point play.
The Warriors had some special guests at the game tonight against the 76ers from the San Francisco 49ers and they are as follows George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, Chase Young, Arik Armstead, Charvarius Ward and Javon Kinlaw that were in attendance. Draymond Green was the quarterback of the play that helped during the run in the third quarter assisting on four field goals, including two Curry 3-pointers.
Up next for Warriors
The Warriors are going to have a seven game road trip coming up and the first stop on it is to Memphis on the second of February and then have to travel right after that game to play against the Atlanta Hawks. Then on the fifth of February they will travel to play the Brooklyn Nets then a week and a day later they will have a rematch against the 76ers During the eighth the Warriors travel to Indiana to play the Pacers. Then on Lunar New Year they will be playing in Arizona to play against the Suns. Then they will close out the road trip on the 12th in Utah to face off against the Jazz.
