Week 6 NFL Power Rankings

32. New England Patriots (1-4):

This offense is simply terrible. There is a chance Drake Maye could bring a spark to the team though.

31. Carolina Panthers (1-4):

It is remarkable how much the Bryce Young trade set back this team for years to come. There is a real shot that the Panthers draft another quarterback in the 1st round this year.

30. Cleveland Browns (1-4):

As for the Browns there shouldn’t be much of a question on if they will be going after a quarterback. Deshaun is clearly not the answer and they need to get a new signal caller.

29. Tennessee Titans (1-3):

The Titans have a lot of nice pieces on their roster. I seriously doubt that Will Levis or Brian Callahan are the future of this franchise though. This is not a competitive team.

28. Las Vegas Raiders (2-3):

With Davante Adams wanting to be traded and both quarterbacks on the team throwing more interceptions than touchdowns, the writing is on the wall. Tank and rebuild around a young quarterback.

27. New York Giants (2-3):

Yes the Giants won, but I see no reality this team is a competitor this season. Their defense is very good but it can’t support their offense. The Giants are the weakest team in the division and need to reset at quarterback.

26. New York Jets (2-3):

Only beating the Patriots and Titans is not a good look for a team many thought could be Super Bowl contenders. There is a reason Robert Saleh was fired. Maybe the Jets can bounce back under a new head coach.

25. New Orleans Saints (2-3):

The Saints have been competitive in all of their games so far. However, it’s hard to have them any higher on this list after losing 3 straight. This team still has time to climb back up the ranks.

24. Chicago Bears (3-2):

The Bears have a winning record, however their schedule has been extremely easy outside of the Texans game. Caleb and the offense overall is improving by the week though.

23. Seattle Seahawks (3-2):

The Seahawks beat the Broncos, Patriots, and Dolphins without Tua. Losing to the Giants is proof in the pudding that the Seahawks are pretenders.

22. Los Angeles Rams (1-4):

It is certainly rough for the Rams as of right now. I am confident that they will bounce back once Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua return though. A healthy Rams team will turn it around.

21. Miami Dolphins (2-3):

The Dolphins look horrific without Tua Tagovailoa. Once Miami gets back their signal caller they could turn this season around quickly though. The potential is there and they’re not too far behind.

20. Indianapolis Colts (2-3):

The Colts are completely riddled with injuries. This team has the upside to be good. They have to get healthy and clean things up before reaching that ceiling though.

19. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-4):

The Jaguars finally exploded. Trevor Lawrence was pristine and other players such as BTJ and Tank Bigsby are impressing big. They need to carry the momentum into the next 2 London games.

18. Arizona Cardinals (2-3):

This offense is electric and should get a boost with Zay Jones returning. However the defense is a question to this team’s success, but Arizona is definitely competitive.

17. Dallas Cowboys (3-2):

The Cowboys haven’t truly impressed, but they are winning. The Cowboys offense didn’t look great, but they executed and won against one of the best defenses in the league. I’m waiting for them to explode against a top team.

16. Los Angeles Chargers (2-2):

Justin Herbert will define the Chargers team. Their defense is playing very well and JK Dobbins looks great. Yet this team lost 2 straight against the first real competition. If Herbert plays well this team will find success.

15. Philadelphia Eagles (2-2):

Jalen Hurts needs to step up his game. This Eagles roster is fantastic at all levels. The Eagles will need to execute better offensively to take the division from Washington.

14. Denver Broncos (3-2):

As of now Denver is the 6th seed in the AFC. The Broncos are on a roll winning their past 3 games. The defense is fantastic but I struggle to see the offense maintaining success.

13. Cincinnati Bengals (1-4):

This team has looked great each of the past 4 games despite their record. Joe Burrow and the offense is doing EVERYTHING they can. The defense needs to step up for the Bengals to recover.

12. San Francisco 49ers (2-3):

The 49ers need to get healthy. This is one of the best teams in football and they are still competitive. Injuries have derailed San Francisco so far though this season.

11. Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2):

The Steelers defense is elite. Justin Fields is playing well for Pittsburgh, but he doesn’t have enough weapons. The run game is weak and the only legit receiver is George Pickens. They need to add more playmakers to find offensive success.

10. Green Bay Packers (3-2):

This offense is great and Matt LaFleur is going to make this team competitive against anyone. I need to see more consistency from Jordan Love for them to move any higher though.

9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2):

Baker and the Buccaneers look incredible. Despite losing to Atlanta, Baker is an MVP candidate and I firmly believe they will continue to find success this season.

8. Atlanta Falcons (3-2):

Now that’s a way to move up the ranks! Kirk and the Falcons offense played outstanding. This was the impressive performance I’ve been anticipating from Atlanta. If they get Bijan really going this team could be SCARY!

7. Washington Commanders (4-1):

Jayden Daniels is incredible. The future of Washington is as bright as the Sun. I still question if a rookie quarterback will be a legit contender in the playoffs, but Baltimore this week is a legit test.

6. Buffalo Bills (3-2):

Josh Allen and the offense fell off the last 2 weeks. The Bills will be looking towards bouncing back against a Jets team led by a new head coach. I expect Buffalo to bounce back big.

5. Houston Texans (4-1):

This young team is so good! CJ Stroud and Nico Collins may be the best QB-WR duo in the league as of now. Houston has a relatively easy schedule coming up so they should be able to keep this ball rolling.

4. Baltimore Ravens (3-2):

OH MY COMEBACK! Lamar and Henry looked like fans hoped they would all offseason. The Bengals did everything they could on offense. It still wasn’t enough against Baltimore.

3. Detroit Lions (3-1):

The Lions had a bye week but let’s not forget their perfect performance against Seattle. The Lions are a top threat in this league and could easily end up the Super Bowl favorites as the season progresses.

2. Kansas City Chiefs (5-0):

I finally gave in. The Chiefs have had controversial calls every single matchup. Patrick Mahomes is leading the league in interceptions with 6, the same amount of touchdowns he has thrown. The Chiefs are scraping by with these wins and are finding success in spite of their offense so far. They move down for the first time.

1. Minnesota Vikings (5-0):

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the Vikings are the best team in the league right now. Sam Darnold has been great all year, despite struggling against his former team. The offense is hot and is getting back one of the best tight ends in football, TJ Hockenson. The defense especially is elite though leading the league in turnover and only allowing 76 points despite playing some of the best teams the league has to offer. The Vikings are LEGIT!
