Trail Blazers end Curry three point streak

The Portland Trail Blazers tonight ended Stephen Curry’s three point streak and he struggled to shoot. The streak Curry had was 268 consecutive games making a three pointer. In the game Curry did not score a single three and went two for 12 in the field and zero for eight from distance. This was also Curry’s first game with less than ten points in a game. Curry finished the game with seven points.

Thompson shines in childhood town

Klay Thompson tonight was shining back in his childhood town growing up for 13 years of his life. Thompson had his best shooting percentage in the game on the road. Thompson also made his first four shots in the game out of the five. Thompson was also the first Warrior to reach double figures in scoring. Thompson’s final statline was 28 points and was eleven for 16 for shooting with five three pointers made.

Andrew Wiggins tonight finished the game with 24 points in the game. Kevon Looney now has played in his 219th consecutive regular season game, the second longest active games played streak in the NBA. Looney has now played in 254 consecutive games in the regular season and playoffs, the seventh longest combined-games streak in franchise history. The Warriors also have now won four consecutive games against the TrailBlazers and now has defended Portland in nine of the last eleven meetings and now two and o this season.

Next for the Warriors

The Golden state Warriors will have a heavy 13 game at home coming up and have one more road game this month to face off against the defending champions Denver Nuggets. When the Warriors return home to play the Celtics this will be the first meeting this season and they want to seek their sixth win against the Celtics who have the best record in the NBA with 20 wins and five loses.
