Vegas Golden Knights couldn’t hold onto and lose to Blues in OT 2-1

First Period all Blues

The game was really quiet until the end of the period. The St. Louis Blues came in and scored at the end of the period. The time of the first goal for the St. Louis Blues was at the 19 minute mark and 39 seconds. That goal was scored by Alexey Toropchenko, his fifth goal of the season. Toropchenko’s goal was assisted by Colton Parayko who got his third assist in the game and the other assist was Oskar Sundqvist his ninth this season.

Second Period quiet no goals

Neither team scored a goal in the second period and there was not a lot of action. Each team had eight shots on goals but didn’t score at all with that many shots on goal. 

Third Period Vegas tied it up

The Vegas Golden Knights finally got on the board and scored a goal to tie the game within almost 13 minutes into the third period. The actual time of the goal was 12 minutes and 58 seconds. That goal was scored by Jack Eichel his eleventh goal of this season and he was assisted by Alex Pietrangelo his eleventh assist of the season and the other assist was Jonathan Marchessault who recorded his sixth assist this season.

Overtime didn’t last long at all

The game went into overtime and it really didn’t take long for it to end the game. Overtime only lasted only 38 seconds and the St. Louis Blues scored the goal to end the game. The goal was scored by Pavel Buchnevich, his ninth goal of the season. Buchnevich goal was assisted by Robert Thomas his 16th assist this season and the other assist went to Colton Parayko his fourth assist this season.

Next for Vegas

The Vegas Golden  Knights will try to get some revenge against the Blues on Wednesday in St. Louis the puck drops at six pm Pacific time nine pm on the east coast.
