With the end of the college football season & all conference championships played, expert analysts have a good idea of who is staying put in college, who is entering the NFL Draft, and where they will be positioned in next month’s draft. Most of you know the household names in college football, but many of you don’t know the 3rd-7th round players who may not only fill out your favorite team’s roster, but will be impact players in the foreseeable future.
And since you asked for a cheat sheet to the 2024 NFL Draft test, I’m here to oblige. Over the next few days, weeks, & months, I will be releasing updated prospect ratings (especially after the combine and player’s Pro Day) for the top 75 players in college football, five players at a time. This way, it’s a steady dose of learning as opposed to cramming information, with no real retention of the material you just read.
As promised, here are the 2024 NFL Draft prospects, as I see them, rated #31-#35:
31. CB Kalen King, Penn State
Kalen King’s athleticism and confidence make him a versatile cornerback capable of playing in various coverage schemes. His closing speed and mental approach to the game are notable strengths.
32. WR Xavier Legette, South Carolina
Xavier Legette’s rise in the draft class is noteworthy. His performance at the catch point and his ability to gain yards after the catch, despite his size, have significantly boosted his draft stock.
33. CB Josh Newton, TCU
Josh Newton has emerged as a strong prospect in the TCU secondary, with notable man-coverage skills and the potential to start in the NFL.
34. CB Terrion Arnold, Alabama
Terrion Arnold’s transition from safety to cornerback at Alabama has been successful, showing significant potential as a run defender and a competitive edge that suggests a promising future in the NFL.
35. EDGE JT Tuimoloau, Ohio State
JT Tuimoloau, a former high-profile recruit, has developed into a versatile defensive end with a range of pass-rush moves, making him a valuable asset on the defensive line.
